Today I am introducing a new game which is called, Patapon. Just hearing from the title alone we have no idea how the game is being played. From what I see through online game websites, people commented that gamers who love Loco-roco will also love playing Patapon. I don’t quite agree with that comment because the gameplay are actually different. It’s just that characters or graphics in the game are quite similar which is cute. A brief description of the game is that in Patapon, you are playing the role as a deity to an army of a “tribe”. Hence, what you have to do is to ensure that your army will overcome obstacles and enemies as you unlock new commands such as attack, defend and move forward/backward etc. Most importantly, each of these commands are activated through a rhythmic beat. So you have to follow the sequence of beat by pressing the buttons on the PSP that will decide your victory.

i think that the game patapon will be a very nice game judging from the interface and description of it. i think all people who has a psp should try out the game.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is an action pact game which requires you to have fast reactions and exploring skills. Basically it is a 3D game whereby you are a predator and your objective of the game is to eliminate the aliens on earth, without the humans noticing your presence as a predator.

Kill those aliens while accomplishing the tasks according to the storyline. I recently found out that the storyline of the game Alien vs. Predator: Requiem is actually following the recent movie Alien vs. Predator 2. I was like “Ah?” when I was watching the movie on New Year’s Eve. It’s the same as the game! That’s cool. However, I found the movie Alien vs. Predator not that good. The storyline is too common and ridiculous. The game though is worth playing if you have the eagerness to kill the aliens. For every alien you kill, you gain honour points and you can use these points to upgrade your weapons such as the shoulder cannon, your spear, as well as your claws. So earn as many points as you can! Have fun while I go back and play the game over again!

Warriors of the Lost Empire

Hi everyone! Here’s introducing a new game. It’s called “Warriors of the Lost Empire”. Above picture is a picture taken of the gameplay. It’s an RPG and also MMORPG game. I actually find the game quite fun to play reason for its range of skills a character can get and for this kind of game, you just simply have to train hard enough and make sure that your level of your character is high enough to kill those boss mobs.

For more fun, try the multiplayer mode, whereby you can train together with your friends and do quests together. It’s more fun and easier to level up when training as a party. However, the unfortunate thing is you have to decide who’s going to be looter when items drop. Hence, there may be small conflicts when training with a friend. I know this because I do that with my brother. But still, everything end up good and we managed to kill through many stages. All in all, it’s a game that can be considered playing. As for those gamers who prefer more on graphics and more skills, this game shall be a pass. See you guys soon! Hope the above comments help.

MX vs ATV: Untamed

This post is for December 21, 2007.
The game here I am going to mentioned is just released recently. It’s new!
The game is called MX vs ATV: Untamed. Basically it’s a racing game or rather stunt game whereby you control your biker and do stunts with you motorbike or motorcar. This game lets me think of the olden days when I was playing with my Gameboy Advance. Examples of some classic racing games are the ‘Extreme Motocross’ and ‘Biker EXE’. This two games are in fact quite popular in the past few years before the PSP was introduced.

However, MX vs ATV: Untamed has a much better gameplay in terms of its graphics and the variety of race types they provide. There are many different tracks in which you can race in and do stunts with. The more the dangerous stunts you do, the more points you earn and the things you unlock, that’s the basic terminology in the game. So have fun! Race it! Signing off.

S.W.A.T: Target Liberty

Hi everyone! Sorry guys for not posting for the past weeks. I have been quite busy so it was difficult for me to find time to blog.

Hence this is the post for December 14, 2007.
I wanted to mention a game which was released quite a few months ago. The reason for the sudden recap for this game is because I noticed the rating for this game in GAMESPOT which was horrendous, a rating of 5.5. I was shocked at the rating when I first saw it. Till I come to recall when I was playing the game, the game play indeed wasn’t that great. Compared to the pc version, the pc version was much more interesting. Basically I think the main reason is the difference in the camera views. The pc version was a first-man view however the PSP version was the bird’s-eye-view; hence it’s quite difficult to play using the PSP. Thus, the mediocre rating was given.

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008

Hi everyone! This is Kevin once again. This week I want to share a game with you guys which is the PSP Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. It’s a game that must be played for all PSP gamers because the graphics is so real and everything is simply too fascinating. The graphics, the moves, the maneuvers, they are so like the real wrestling entertainment that we watch daily. Especially the entrances, for e.g. the DX entrance, where Triple H and Shawn Michaels comes out together and do exactly the same actions that they does every time, except for the dialogue part.

I started playing the 24/7 mode, which is also known as the season mode, using Undertaker as my wrestler. He’s strong I can say, however I did somehow get some injuries while on the way. Currently I have completed 11% of the 24/7 mode. I think I am going at a good pace, because a game that can be easily completed I don’t think it will be fun. So Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 is the game to play. I have some questions though, as in I am still not quite sure of the button configurations yet. For example; I don’t know how to strip a turnbuckle, how to perform turnbuckle actions as well. Hence, I hope someone out there who is also playing the game can help me? Thanks. *New Release! Sonic Rivals 2

Hi guys, here's a new game that was just recently released. It's Sonic Rivals 2. Is it this year was the Sonic Rivals released, I think it's early this year. I tried the game and I think it was quite fun at the starting, but somehow the game got a bit tougher halfway through. Same applies for this Sonic Rivals 2. I mean, if you are good at it, it will be a very fun game. The game is about reactions I can say, because there are some races whereby you have to follow the buttons that you see appearing on the screen. If you are too slow, you will definitely lose the race.

However, the game is fun in terms that there are more characters that can be used. For e.g. Shadow, Metal Sonic, Silver and more. So it will be more interesting as you find out new skills that each character possesses in the game. Basically I will give the game a rating of 4 out of 5, which can be considered purchasing. To end my post, I would like hear some comments from other psp gamers whom have played the game. All comments would be accepted. Thank You!
